For customs brokers, import teams and freight forwarders
Prepare your shipment documents for review in one place
Upload a shipment's PDF documents to your organization's workspace. For each value Merva reads, see the page and printed text it came from, then record what your team checked, entered and still needs, before the customs declaration is prepared.
One free month · No payment card needed
Merva's reading of documents has not been verified yet: a value can be read wrongly or missed, so your team checks each one against the original document.
How it works
Your team checks each value; Merva keeps the record
01Upload the shipment's documents
Commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and SABER certificates, as PDF, in your organization's own workspace.
02Check each value against its source
Where Merva reads a value, it shows the document, page and printed text it came from. Your team checks it against the original, confirms it or enters the right value.
03Record decisions and what remains
Each decision is recorded with who made it, when and why, the original readings are kept, and the items still open stay listed for your team.

HS codes
Search HS tariff codes
Describe your goods in Arabic or English, or type an HS code. Merva's product guide suggests the headings to look at, and asks the one question that decides between them.
Partial coverage: Merva's product guide covers some goods only. Its suggestions are not a customs classification and are not binding. A licensed customs broker confirms the final code.
Who it's for
For the people who prepare shipment documents
Check your client's documents before you prepare the declaration.
- Keep each client shipment's documents together in your organization's workspace.
- See the page and printed text behind each value Merva reads, and check it against the original.
- Record what you confirmed and why; the original readings stay on record.

- Free trial: one calendar month on the plan you choose, with its normal allowances, one per organization. Plan and trial details
Shipment allowances reset every month, on annual billing too, and unused shipments do not carry over. Document storage is the total you keep and does not reset monthly. No extra charge is ever added automatically when you go over an allowance: more shipments or storage are available by agreement.
Any price after the launch period is agreed with you before it applies. Merva takes no online payments, and nothing is charged automatically.
Cancellation terms for paid plans will be confirmed with you before you subscribe.
After the free month you decide whether to subscribe. If you do, your first paid month or paid year starts when the free month ends. If you don't, new shipments need a subscription, and nothing is deleted when the trial ends. How long your records and downloads are kept after that will be confirmed with you.
Subscribing to a plan does not make anyone a licensed customs broker. Every member who prepares shipments can complete them and download the package; an organization may add an internal approval step.
Frequently asked questions
Does Merva submit the customs declaration or carry out clearance?
No. Merva is a workspace for preparing shipment documents for review. It does not submit customs declarations or carry out clearance, and it is not connected to FASAH.
Which documents can I upload?
PDF commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, air waybills, certificates of origin and SABER certificates. Merva reads some values from invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and SABER certificates, mostly from text-based PDFs, and it does not yet read goods tables reliably. Air waybills are accepted but their values are not read yet, and neither are certificates of origin.
Can I rely on the values Merva reads?
Not yet. Merva's reading of documents has not been verified: a value can be read wrongly or missed. Treat each value as unchecked until your team has checked it against the original document. Merva also does not yet reliably find differences between documents, so your team checks them.
Does Merva decide the HS code?
No. Merva suggests codes from the tariff data it holds, which is partial, and the reviewer confirms the final code. A suggested code is not a classification.
Does Merva tell me which certificates or permits my goods need?
No. Merva does not assess regulatory requirements such as SABER or SFDA, and it does not give regulatory or legal advice. Ask a licensed customs broker or the relevant authority.
How does the free trial work?
Request a free trial and the Merva team will contact you to arrange it. The trial is one calendar month on the plan you choose, starting when your organization's account is created. No payment card is needed, and nothing converts to a paid plan automatically.
Does Merva work in Arabic?
Yes. The interface works in Arabic and English. Reading Arabic-only and scanned documents is more limited today.
